A little of this and that

I can't believe I forgot to take pictures on Christmas. First I set up the video camera @ our house and then totally forgot to take regular pictures. Then we walked out the door without the camera! So the only pictures I have of Christmas are courtesy of my mom. Bless her heart. I can't believe I missed out on pictures of sledding out on the farm. We had so much fun. Warren thought it was great and didn't even get upset when I dumped our sled and he went into the snow head first. Good times!!!
How is it that baby boys always have the most beautiful eyelashes. He's just a doll. I really enjoy this age. All except the I can't talk so I'll just screech at you part:)

Warren has entered the WHY stage. I have never answered so many questions in a day. Occasionally Greg and I just say I don't know son. He is so much fun. Earlier this morning he picks up a cord and says, "Mom I'm just curious about cords." It made me laugh. I think the correct statement is I'm just curious about everything. He begged for watermelon the other day so I caved in and bought a personal size one. "Mom that one is not big" Warren informed me. Everything is supposed to be big and for heavens sake RED!!!!

Oh the perturbed kitty cat. Our bird feeder is driving the cat crazy. Most days this is where she can be found, ears back and tail flying.

Happy Thanksgiving and A Few Stitches

We had a great Thanksgiving. We spent a lot of time out at Greg's parents. They butchered their pigs and we came home with lots of wonderful meat. What great in-laws I have! Here are a few pictures from the family fun. We had a bonfire, complete with smores! Life is good when chocolate and fire and family are involved!

Warren has had his first offical medical issue. Yesterday morning I woke up to find him dressed and downstairs. He has figured out how to open the gate at the top of the stairs. Sigh!!! I came into the living room and sat down. Not two seconds later he ran across the dining room to let the cat in the sliding glass door. He slipped and spun. Then his head connected with the barstool. I knew before I even stopped hugging him that there would be blood. He is the proud owner of 3 stitches right by his left eyebrow. Poor kid. We had to wrap him in a burrito at the ER to get the stitches in.

We spent Monday putting up Christmas lights. I got the boys all bundled up to go out. They looked so cute. Then we get out and it's 50 degrees. I about boiled them! Warren has made it his job to plug in the lights every night. When he wakes up he's mad that someone has unplugged them!

We had a primary activity day a few weeks ago. I just have to throw in a few pictures.

Happy Halloween

Our crazy new past time- Bird watching!

Here are a few highlights from our Halloween! Greg took the night off and went trick or treating with us. It was great to have him home. It was the first Halloween he has spent with the boys.

Pumpkin Liner

We decided that we would go on a train ride this year as part of our staycation. We went up to Horseshoe Bend and road the pumpkin liner. The weather was dreadful to start with and we had to ride inside the dining car but as we approached the pumpkin patch the rain stopped and we were able to get our pumpkins. Warren thought it was so much fun! Who wouldn't have fun when both sets of Grandparents are there to share the fun. Thanks for coming Grandma's and Pa's.

A few pictures

Does this look like the beginning of something??????

Ok just a few pictures...

Just had to have a little fun in the park today. I haven't posted forever. Between canning everything I can get my hands on, to my new church calling (Primary President), I've been a little busy. But I hate being bored! and oh the fun I'm going to have:)
I'm so Excited about our grapes. They have taken over the entire trellis and run amuck over the back fence. I hope we have tons of grape juice from the concords this year. I just can't ever get enough. If anyone wants table grapes please come over. I have enough to feed the town!

I'll probably be in trouble for this one but this was the Sunday morning after Greg's last night shift. He was only getting a few hours of sleep before church each Sunday. Can't tell you how ecstatic we are to have that one over with. I already feel like I've reclaimed my life this week! He'll need a few more weeks before he feels like a human again..

Nettie did this on her blog and challenged everyone to follow suit ... so here we go.Here are the directions:1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!2.Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. :) If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Sweet Summer Time! And Big Boy Pants!

Don't you just want to pop these in your mouth. I've had the best time with our strawberry patch this year. I was able to make 2 batches of jam in one day from what I picked! Amazing...

STOP THE PRESSES, WARREN IS POTTY TRAINED....

I'm still singing with joy and occasionally doing the potty dance cheer for Warren. I finally found the trigger to get him going. A Winnie the Pooh cake. No pun intended! I put pictures of his birthday up all over the house to remind him to go potty and within a day he had decided it was time for big boy pants. I'm so thrilled that is over!!!!

This is my nephew TJ who is getting ready to go on his mission. What a nice three Generations picture!
